She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sterling and Lucy Zella Gore Bridges; and her daughter Barbara Jean Oliver. She is survived by: her grandchildren, William, Wendy and Helen "Stasia"; her great grandchildren, Kelsey, Lacey, McKenna, Hannah and Quincy; and her great great grandchildren, Channing, Easton, Stella and Scarlett.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to The National MS Society in honor of Mary Helen Powell's daughter, Barbara Oliver.
