She was predeceased by: her parents, Avery Demarco Varner and Willeen Matilda King Peake; her son William Anthony "Tony" Bowman; and her stepfather Robert "Bob" Peake. She is survived by: her husband William Hiram Bowman; her sons, Steven Bowman (Judy) and Michael Bowman; her brother Curt Peake (Donna); and her grandchildren, Tonya Bowman, Alayna Bowman and Michael Beaty.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Maddox Funeral Home (105 W Main St, Front Royal, VA 22630). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
