He was predeceased by: his parents, James Martin and Ruth Ann LaConia (May); his sister Lela; and his grandson Jacob. He is survived by: his son Robert "Scott" LaConia; and his daughter-in-law Genie. He is also survived by four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, four brothers, two sister in laws, and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and several more extended family and friends.
