He is survived by: his wife Betty Jackson Hensley; his children, John Jr. (Joanne Morrison Hensley) of Front Royal, Barbara Hensley Petitt (John Peterson) of Schuyler Virginia, Cindy Hensley White (George White) and Kathy E Hensley of Front Royal; and his grandchildren, Bradley Petitt (Danielle), Greg Petitt, Renee Eastwood (Joshua), Ansley Petitt, Edwin Hensley (Paige), Ashley Rasmussen, Erika White, Mary Hensley, TJ Skaggs (Annie) and Kailey Skaggs. He is also survived by 13 Great Grandchildren.
