Kerns Jr. of Front Royal, Virginia, born in Arlington, Virginia, who passed away on May 5, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James John B. Kerns, Sr. and Eleanor Mae Street. He is survived by: his children, James John B. Kerns, III (Erica Browning) of Warrenton, VA and Laura Marie Kerns (Robert Hendricks) of Fairfax, VA; his siblings, Tipton Kerns (Mildred) of Fredericksburg, VA, Donald Kerns (Barbara) of Front Royal, VA, Samuel Kerns of Front Royal, VA, Bobby Kerns of Warrenton, VA and Bonnie Auclair (David) of Harrisonburg, VA; his niece Mollie Griswold; his nephews, Michael Kerns and JP Sexton; and his great-niece Sophia Griswold. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Moose Lodge 829 Front Royal Virginia.
