He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William and Ethel May Sowers Sommers; and his brothers, Arthur Leon Sommers, Sr. and Grover Lee Sommers Sr.. He is survived by: his son Billy; his daughter-in-law Faye Campbell of Front Royal; and his grandchildren, Jordan Campbell of Front Royal, Savannah Rutherford of Front Royal and Brandon Potter of Front Royal. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
