He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Forrester "Mike" Shaner, Sr. and Theresa Lee "Tres" Eyler Shaner; his wife Vickie Maricle Shaner; his daughters, Allyson Gillispie (Gary) of Front Royal and Lindsey Orndorff (Adam) of Warren County; his stepchildren, Christina Massey of Front Royal, Beth Krick of Front Royal and Jason Maricle of Front Royal; his sisters, Terry Johns (James Johns) of Stephens City and Michelle "Micki" McDonald of Front Royal; his grandchildren, Ryan Pullen, Amber Pullen, Logan Schultz, Taylor Thompson, Chase Gillispie and Mackenzie Orndorff; and his great grandchildren, Nevaeh and Raelynn. He was also cherished by his family and many friends.
