He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Keith and Virginia Huson (Upton); his siblings, Hal and Rita; and his siblings-in-law, Delores Scherrer (Raymond), Aggie Patton (Jerry), Rita Brown, Charles, Tony Rider and Jeff Whiting.

He is survived by: his wife Susie Huson (Rider); his sons, Benjamin (Ben), Zachary (Brigitte) and Joshua (Amanda); his siblings, Dennis (Phoebe), Brad (Cindy) and Janet; his siblings-in-law, Thomas Rider (Barbara), Gene Joiner and Jane Whiting; and his grandchildren, Maryanne, Patrick, Sarah Kate, Heidi, Emma and Cooper. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
