He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Murrill Sr. and Mary Brock Wimer; his wife Winifred Wimer; and his brother Jack Wimer. He is survived by: his children, Tom Wimer (Sherry) of Chesapeake, Virginia and Sherry Kerns of Rocky Mount, Virginia; and his brother Howard M. Wimer of Front Royal. He is also survived by five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
