She was predeceased by: her parents, George Battle and Orville Ann Morrison Athey; and her siblings, John Wayne Athey, Lemuel Battle "Toddy" Williams and Rosa Lee Williams.
She is survived by: her cousin Vicki Smith. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Rockland Community Cemetery.
