We bid farewell to Genevieve H. Rager of Front Royal, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 29, 2024 at the age of 92. Genevieve touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph H. Hamman and Hazel Wilkins Hamman; her husband Richard Eldridge Rager; and her siblings, Lee Hamman, Alvin Hamman, Juanita Himelright, Wilma Ryman, Gladys Garrett and Lilly Zirkle.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Brown (Pete Robison) of Sterling, VA and Sandra K. McGeehan (Robert) of Olney, MD; her grandchildren, Leslie Anne Grant of Annapolis, MD, Robert J. McGeehan, III of Frederick, MD and Shannon Katherine Buck of Silver Springs, MD; her great grandchildren, Molly O'Connel McGeehan, Kate O'Connel McGeehan, Michael O'Connel McGeehan and Jake Buck; her brother Gene Hamman of Fort Valley, VA; her nephews, Frank Zirkle, Jr. (Icelee) and Leo Ryman (Gloria); and her niece Joyce Ann French.
