With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edvin Vernon Farinholt III of Front Royal, Virginia, born in Richmond, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 7, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edvin Vernon Farinholt II and Catherine Mary McSweeney Farinholt; and his brothers, Robert, Joseph and Richard "Dick" Farinholt.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Ed, Dan, Tony (Denise), Mike (Nanette), Matt (Sharon), Lisa Arney (John), Lou (Molly), Patrick, Amanda McFadden (Tom), Dave (Regina) and Nate; and his brother Jim. He is also survived by his 50 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
