He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Earl Bowers and Clara Carper Bowers; his wife Carolyn Reedy Bowers; his children, Tancy Seal (Garry), Tom Bowers (Lori), Dennis Bowers (Ellen) and Lori Nebel (Mark); his daughter-in-law Evelyn Bowers; his sister Evelyn Bowers Baker; and his son Daniel Lee Bowers. He was also cherished by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
