He was predeceased by: his parents, Webb Kirkpatrick and Catherine Martz Kirkpatrick; and his sister Doris Klepper. He is survived by: his children, Karen D. Kirk of McGaheysville, VA, Susan Kirk (Stacey Leadbetter) of Bentonville and Richard L. "Dickie" Kirk (Corey) of Berryville; his grandchildren, Cara L. Kirk of Bridgeport, WV and Gatlin L. Kirk of Berryville, VA; his brother David A. Kirk (Elsie) of Front Royal, VA; and his close friend Chris Brugh. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins.
