It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole Ann Bortle of Front Royal, Virginia, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Catlin and Roma Wright Catlin; and her sister Roma Proctor. She is survived by: her close friend Charles F. Zaun; her brother Damon Catlin Sr.; and her nephews, Patrick Proctor and Damon Catlin Jr.. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
