She was predeceased by: her parents, Theon Ambrose and Georgie Edwards Darden; and her husband James Clayton Pugh Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Dale Pugh (Cindy) of Belton, James Clayton Pugh III (Gretchen) of Front Royal, Virginia, Patricia Pugh Aadahl (Richard) of Williamsburg and Tracy Pugh Delaney (Russell) of Roanoke, Virginia; her siblings, Theon Ambrose "Tad" Darden of West Point, Virginia and Shirley Darden Bunch of Suffolk, Virginia; her grandchildren, John Randall Perry, Darren Christopher Pugh, Heather Ashley Shipe (Kyle), Holly Nicole Hoover (Jesse), Hannah Elizabeth Delaney, Richard Cameron "Cam" Aadahl (Jordan), Rachel Delaney Pelletier (Joshua) and Samuel Evans Delaney; and her great grandchildren, Chase Andrew Perry, Evan Bradley Perry, Blake Randall Perry, Kaysen Arthur Perry and Jaden James Aadahl.
A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Marlow Heights Baptist Church (517 Braxton Rd, Front Royal, VA 22630).
