She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Nicholson and Betty Nicholson; and her siblings, Patty, Michael and Dan Nicholson.
She is survived by: her husband Mike; her children, Liz Woodward and Wade Nairn III; her siblings, Linda Smith of Arizona, Diane Byrnes of Winchester, Susan Henry (Tony) of Florida, Mary Kincer (Ron) of Georgia and John Nicholson (Kate) of North Carolina; her mother-in-law Pat Woodward of Vienna, Virginia; and her brother-in-law Richard Woodward of Front Royal.
Due to the wonderful care she received from Blue Ridge Hospice, she wished that all donations to honor her life be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Winchester, VA 22601.
