In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Wanda Kay had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Wanda Kay may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Gallimore and Ethel D. Harrison Gallimore; and her brother Ricky Gallimore. She is survived by: her sons, Greg Nester (Sarah) and Gary Nester (Amanda); her siblings, Anita Pearman, Daisy Gravley, Debbie Blair and Clinton "Buckshot" Gallimore; her sister-in-law Sarah Gallimore; her nephew Randall Stone; and her niece Vanessa Huffman. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two-step-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Round Knob Cemetery (585 Pine Grove Rd, Austinville, VA 24312).
