He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sidney Johnson and Nancy Montgomery Johnson; his wife Betty Lucille Copenhaver Johnson; his sons, William (Debbie Johnson) and Mike (Rebecca Johnson); his sister Magdalene Mallory of Fries, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Kayla McCoy, Denise Absher, Matthew Johnson, Carter Johnson and Ethan Johnson. He was also cherished by four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
