She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ben and Hassie Mae Edwards Wooten; and her granddaughter Crystal Renae Smith. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Lou (William Preston Caldwell) and Margaret Ward of Galax, Virginia; her grandchildren, Harold Keith Smith of Galax, Virginia, Arthur Kevin Smith of Galax, Virginia, Jason Aaron Smith of Sylvatus, Virginia, Marie (Anthony Slater), David (Jennifer Ward) and Chris (Kendrah Ward); and her close friends, Phyllis Branscome and Wanda Dowling. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
