He was predeceased by: his parent Hix Anthony; his wife Virginia Donelee Peak Stanley; and his siblings, Eddie, Darrell, Eloise Murray and Joyce Isom.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila Butcher of Fries, VA, Bob Stanley of Fries, VA and Rocky (Sherry Stanley); his siblings, Louise Hayes, Patricia (Marshall Shupe), Patsy Cornett, Christine (Freddie Delp), Larry (Debbie Stanley), Billy (Jan Stanley), Pete (Jackie Stanley) and Alan Stanley; and his sister-in-law Robin Stanley. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
