He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wright and Myrtle Millwood Wright; his wife Patsy Atkins Wright; and his sisters, Betty (James "Buck" Davis), Lois (John Jennings), Margaret Wright and Barbara.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Bilbrey (Danny) of Wytheville and Lesia Wright of Galax; his grandchildren, Kendall Bilbrey of Athens and Taylor Bilbrey of Denver, Colorado.; his brother Charles "Bud"; his siblings-in-law, Frances Wright of Galax, David Harmon of Fries and Doug Atkins (Susie) of Ocean Isle; and also Amanda Owens. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and special friends.
Due to CDC recommendations social distancing and mask will be required for the graveside service.
