She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Oscar Vass and Elizabeth Vass (Hurst); her husband Lundus Harvey Neff, Jr.; her daughter Celia; her son-in-law Taylor Vaughan; her granddaughters, Emily Vaughan Ritchie (Matt), Rebecca Elizabeth Vaughan (Matthew Warnock) and Carolyn Vaughan Nelson (Garrett); her great grandchild Lauren Taylor Ritchie; and her sister Gene V. Bass of Raleigh. She was also cherished by one niece and several nephews.
