It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Darnell Davis Sapp of Fries, Virginia, who passed away on December 16, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Elmer and Florine Katherine King Davis; and her brothers, Wayne Davis and Ronald Davis. She is survived by: her husband Robert Sapp; her children, Teresa (Rickey Fulton), Tracy (Jimmie Underwood) and Ronnie of Fries Virginia; her daughter-in-law Karen Taylor of Fries Virginia; her stepchildren, Robert Sapp, Jr. of Lafayette, Tennessee and Michelle Lewis of Independence, Virginia; her siblings, Joan Lowe of Thomasville, Carolyn Lawson of Belews Creek, Patricia Sheets of Kernersville, Barry (Maggie Davis) and Gary (Thi Davis); and her grandchildren, Chad (India Taylor), April (Ian MacInnis), Mandi (Kris Funk), Garrett (Jessica Vaughan), Zack (Kate Vaughan), Shelley (Chris Anders), James Underwood, Jacey Underwood, Katy Sapp, Eli (Monica Sapp), Breanna Lewis, Angelica Harmon, Faith Lewis, Hope Lewis, Noah Sapp, Ethan Sapp and Misha Fulton. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
