He is survived by: his wife Linda Jones of Fries, Virginia; his daughter Michelle; his son-in-law Craig Hoffman of Christiansburg, Virginia; his daughter Regina Carico (Whit Donithan); his grandchildren, Noah Hoffman, Adriana Hoffman, Isabella Marie Jones, Danica Raylen Carico, Ava Donithan, Adlyn Donithan and Westyn Donithan; and his siblings, Rosalee (Thomas Blevins), Lillian Shaffner, Kathy (Cecil Ayers), Darlene Bryant of Galax, Virginia, Carol Carter of Independence, Virginia, Johnny (Janet Jones), Mike (Brenda Jones) and Bryan (Nancy Jones). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home (201 W Center St, Galax, VA 24333). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel (201 W Center St, Galax, VA 24333).
