He was predeceased by: his parents, Foy Morton and Minnie Hampton Morton; his stepmother Mildred Morton; and his stepsiblings, Buster Cox and Susie Pickett.
He is survived by: his wife Geneva Morton; his children, Andrea, Frankie Bishop of Galax, VI, Amy and Darryl Filbeck of Benton, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Katie Bishop, James Bishop, Caleb Filbeck, Bradley Filbeck and Lucas Filbeck; and his close friend Kelly Person of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
