He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Kirby and Mae Hart Kirby; and his son Timothy "Tim" Kirby. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Kirby; and his son Barry Kirby of Winston-Salem. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
