He was predeceased by: his parents, Hix Stanley and Laily Snow Stanley; and his siblings, Eloise Murray, Joyce Isom, Darrell Stanley and Peanut Stanley.
He is survived by: his wife Robin Stanley of Fries, Virginia; his daughter Jennifer; his son-in-law Oliver Marques of Blacksburg, Virginia; his son Travis Stanley (Daniele Cregger); his grandchildren, Logan Marques, Cooper Marques, Colton Morris and Kaydence Morris; and his siblings, Louise Hayes of North Carolina, Patsy Taylor (Marshall Shupe) of North Carolina, Christine (Freddie Delp), Doug Stanley, Larry (Debbie Stanley), Billy (Jan Stanley), Alan Stanley and Pete (Jackie Stanley). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
