It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Harlow Hill of Fries, Virginia, who passed away on October 20, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Phipps and Leona Sue Wright Hill; and his siblings, Earlene Hill and Ralph Hill. He is survived by: his wife Faye Cox Hill of Fries, Virginia; his children, Alisa (Jarret White) of Surf City, Zack (Alyssa Hill) of Galax, Virginia, Stephanie (Gerald Goad) of Hillsville, Virginia, Kristina (Mike Osborne) of Roanoke, Virginia and Michael Goins (Jess Boyd) of Raleigh; his siblings, Doug (Kathy Hill) of Ohio, Darlene (Larry Sawyers), Mary (Mark Williams) and Theresa (Freddie Tomlinson) of Fries, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Dawson Spangler, Devynn Spangler, Draden Spangler, Brylee Goins, Marley Goins, Aiden White and Beckett Hill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
