He is survived by: his wife Trisha Lynn Shinault of Fries, Virginia; his children, Jessica (Alex Sauceda), Tia Brown of Fries, Virginia and Daniel Lee Shinault (Byron Shinault) of Maryland; his grandchildren, Madison Shinault, Jaiden Sauceda and James Sauceda; his siblings, Wayne (Christie Coleman) of Galax, Virginia, Randy (Mitzi Shinault) of Galax, Virginia, Richard Shinault of Galax, Virginia and Carol Vaughan of Galax, Virginia; his nieces, Kendra, Taylor and Erin Shinault; and his nephew Travis Mabe.
