She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Hill and Elizabeth Anderson Hill; her husband Lonnie Burcham; and her sister Doris Ann Hill. She is survived by: her children, Tammy (Larry Lawson), Teresa (Jassen Jones) and Tony; her daughter-in-law Lana Burcham of Woodlawn, Virginia; her siblings, Shirley Reid of Warner Robins, Georgia, Yvonne (David Harris), Gus (Linda Hill) of Galax, Virginia and James Hill of Galax, Virginia; her grandchildren, TaNeshia Akers, Trenton Gallimore, Trey Gallimore, Landon Jones, Mitch Melton and Paul Melton; and her great grandchildren, Taevyn Akers and Brayleigh Gallimore. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
