She was predeceased by: her parents, Al Edward Mason and Hortense Cornelia Cooke; her husband Raymond A. Brown; her brothers, Robert E. Mason and Thea D. Mason; and her siblings-in-law, Mamie and Herman.
She is survived by: her children, Gwendolyn (Kenneth), Gale (Randy), Germaine (Jasper), Glorena (Ricky), Acrea, Jr., Paulus, Tammy (Jim), Brenda and Latissa; her brother Sam (Queen); and her sisters-in-law, Catherine and Thelma. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives.
