She is survived by: her children, Thomas "Larry" Walker (Star Jones) and Angela Shumate (William Shumate, III); and her grandchildren, Todd Gordon, Lydia Gordon, Byron White, Eddie Respess, Sarah Smith, Stephanie Shumate and William Shumate. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
