He was predeceased by: his parents, Gracie Fletcher and John Royster; his wife Almeda Pearson Fletcher; his foster parents, Mary Smith and Joe Smith of Warfield, Virginia.; and his siblings-in-law, Bobby Leon Pearson, Rosemary Mason, Mattie Sue Davis, Ella Pearson Goode, Betty Jean Fields, Charles Fields, Sidney Mason and Carl Goode.
He is survived by: his children, Kendra Fletcher of Brodnax, VA and Morris Pearson (Antionette) of Emporia, VA; his siblings, Mildred Holmes (Missy) of Chesterfield, VA and Leroy Fletcher (Myrtle) of Richmond, VA; his foster sisters, Sheila Craig Brown (Larry) and Andrea Anderson Tucker of North Chesterfield, VA; his goddaughter Tamika Givens McSweeney (Daryl) of Richmond, VA; his uncle Rudy Fletcher of Freeman, VA; his adoptive mother Rose Marie Lewis of Freeman, VA; and his siblings-in-law, Martha Pearson of Freeman, VA, Arthur Pearson of Emporia, VA, Harvey Pearson (Sonya) of Fayetteville, NC and Sam Davis of Emporia, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
