He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Pendleton Pace and Virginia Dillard Pace; his wife Mary Hall Pace; his children, Mary Warren Pace Sciba (Kenneth), Dr. Warren Joseph Pace, Jr. (Denise) and Dr. John Hall Pace (Maria); his grandchildren, Deirdre, Emily, Diana, Jeremy and Johnny; his great grandchildren, Indigo, Shreya and Ishaan; and his brother Wesley Emory Pace of Knoxville, TN.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to The Falls Church Episcopal, or Meals on Wheels through Fairfax County Department of Family Services.
