She was predeceased by: her parents, James S. Morris and Ruth E. Walton; and her brothers, James Sherwood Morris Jr. and Ronnie Walton. She is survived by: her children, James Ballard (Janet) and Sandra Shifflett; her sisters, Gail Morris (Allen), Carolyn Morris (Gary), Shelby Davis and Kimberly Nash (Stanley); her grandchildren, Robert Shifflett (Devon), Samantha Shifflett, Morgan Ballard and Madelyn Ballard; and her great grandchildren, Parker, Skylar, Landon and Madison.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Breast Care Center of Charlottesville, the Emily Couric Cancer Center and/or the Nortonsville Church of God.
