He is survived by: his wife Anna Shifflett Wood; his son Gary Wayne Wood (Christine); his grandchildren, Charity Wood (Danny Shifflett) of Free Union and Christopher Wood of Free Union; and his brother Curtis L. Wood.
He was born February 26, 1931 to the late Oscar B. Wood and Charity Davis Wood.
