He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie James Rodgers and Lorraine Jewel Rodgers; his sister Nillie Mae Smith; and his former wife Gladys Rodgers. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Rodgers; his children, Raymond "Chucky" Minter, Betty Kines (Harry), Richard "Ricky" Minter, Lou Dodson, Debbie Weimer (Frank), Laverne Prittchett (Buford), Michael "Dwayne" Rodgers (Christine), Teresa Creef (Mike), Woodrow "Bubby" Rodgers, Gregory "Greg" Rodgers (Deanna), Nancy Cook, Linda Cropp and Penny Woody; and his siblings, Evelyn Dillon, Nancy Venatta and Wayne Rodgers. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren; a great-grandchild.
