He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Janie Crumpton Evans Reece and William James Evans, Jr.; his wife Carol; his daughters, Katie Houser (Donald) of Atlanta and Caroline Dunavant (Dan) of Birmingham, Ala.; his siblings, David Evans (Mary) of Burlington and Elizabeth Queally (Frank) of New Canaan, Conn.; his brother-in-law George Hacker (Faye); and also, Kemp Reece, Gordon Hacker of Stanley, N. C. and Betty. He was also cherished by his four grandchildren.
