We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2023, at the age of 78, William Allen Barnes (Fredericksburg, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Allen Taber Barnes, Jr. and Marjorie Elnora Prather Barnes; his wife Lynda Barnes; his sons, Tim Barnes (Kirston) of Duncansville, PA and Brad Barnes (Susannah) of Washington, VA; and his grandchildren, Jack Barnes, Izzy Fernando, Sam Barnes, Annika Barnes, Jimmy Fernando, Ronan Barnes, Nick Barnes and Sophie Barnes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to ASPCA.ORG (http://aspca.org) in honor of Bill's cat, Charlie, who was never far from his side.
