He was predeceased by: his parents, Laughton Talmage Rowland, Sr. and Nora Rowland; and his brothers, R. C. "Boots" Rowland (Estelle) and L. T. "Tootie" Rowland (Mickey). He is survived by: his wife Velma Stevens Rowland; his children, Steven Rowland (Deborah) of Fairfax, VA, Lori Coe (Tom) of Fredericksburg, VA and Lesley Rowland of Richmond, VA; his grandchildren, Victoria Wilson (Lori), Norman Reece III (Lori) and Joshua Rowland (Lesley); and his siblings, Carol Jean Lansaw (Clarence) and Frank Rowland (Lois). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
