Though Walter may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ebbie Rouse and Marion Rouse; his son David; and his brother William. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Cheryl, Kelly and Rick; and his siblings, Sue Haynes, Jack (Freida) and Roger (Susan). He is also survived by four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Covenant Funeral Service - Fredericksburg (10830 Patriot Hwy, Fredericksburg, VA 22408). A burial was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (3702 Loren Dr, Fredericksburg, VA 22408).
