He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Scott Southard and Rupert B. Southard Jr.; and his siblings, John, Kathleen, Matthew and Ann.
He is survived by: his wife Marguerite Nolan Southard; his daughter Caitlin Southard-Harris (Jeremy); his stepdaughter Jennifer Bullock (Jon); his grandchildren, Wren Southard-Harris and Ryan Bullock; his brother Joseph Southard (Tara); his nieces and nephews, Brooke Southard, Rebecca Frye (Preston), Rob Barnes (Katherine), Matt Barnes (Alison), Jacob Barnes (Ali) and Johannes Klitsch; and his parents-in-law, Mary Lynn, Mike Harwell, Ann Nolan and Bob Barnes. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
