It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Henry Tharp in Fredericksburg, Virginia, born in Helena, Arkansas, who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Tharp and Odessa Tharp; his wife Elizabeth Radcliffe Tharp; and his siblings, Robert, Lester Tharp and Patsy Tharp Lataille.
He is survived by: his sister Frances Tharp Harper; his children, Tom Jr. (Kathy), Michael Tharp (Cindy), James Tharp, Anne Tharp Adams (Kevin) and Steven Tharp (Kathy); his grandchildren, Christine Tharp Holland (Stan), Dianne Tharp, Thomas "Tommy" Tharp IIl (Melissa), Joseph Tharp (Katie), Matthew Tharp, Jessica Tharp Hess (Greg), Sarah Adams, Emily Adams, Katharine "Kate" Tharp, William "Will" Tharp and James "Drew" Tharp; his great grandchildren, Benton, Jack Holland and Thomas "Henry" Tharp IV; and his siblings, Susannah and Patrick Tharp. He is also survived by five children, 11 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, loving nieces, nephews.
