He is survived by: his wife Jane Schlesser of Fredericksburg, Virginia; his daughter Piper Schlesser Foresman; his son-in-law Ed Foresman of Fredericksburg; his daughter Jane Schlesser Corrado; his son-in-law Jay Corrado of Chapel Hill; his grandchildren, Evan Foresman, Avery Foresman and Mia Corrado; his nephew-in-law Jonathan Fox Simons; his niece-in-law Kimberly Simons Macaulay; and also, Lori, Jim, Jack, Lilly, Isabella and Nicolette.
