It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sydney Storr Sr. (Fredericksburg, Virginia), who passed away on November 9, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Minus Storr and Willmore Storr; his siblings, Alma Storr, Grace Frank, Charles Storr and Kenneth Storr; and his great grandchild Jacqueline Amore Mathis.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Storr; his sister Florentine McPhee; his children, Scevia Hunt (Henry), Sheila Mathis (Derrick) and Sydney R. Storr Jr. (Joi); his grandchildren, Janika Wright (Damian), Alena Crawley (Desmond), Tyrone Hunt, Jelani Ellis, Derrick Mathis Jr. (Victoria), Joshua Ellis, Nycholas Hunt, Sennaya Ferreira (Adolfo), Sovon Storr and Sarae Storr; and his great grandchildren, Nathan Crawley, Naomi Crawley, Serenity Wright, Noah Crawley and Velise Ferreira. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
