He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arthur and Lila Jones Houck; and his siblings, Connie, Albert, Margaret, John Paul, Jimmy, Charles, Robert and Norris.
He is survived by: his grandson Alex; his wife Ruth Jones Houck; his daughter Johanna Houck Kourouklis (James "Buddy"); and his grandsons, Jackson G. Kourouklis and Alexander J. Kourouklis.
