He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Pekary of Fredericksburg and Maria Csemez; his sister Maria "Sue" McDonnell of Fredericksburg; and also Bela Csemez of Tet. He is survived by: his child Allison Abbs of Gordonsville; his spouses, Nick Abbs and April Pekary; his grandchildren, Jessica Abbs, Eleanor, Peyton and Holden Pekary; and also, Ariana Pekary of New York City and Steven Pekary of Mineral.
