She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian T. Johnson and Hanson Johnson; and her brothers, Arthur James Williams, Jr. and Bill Catlett. She is survived by: her children, Jessica, Thomas of Washington, Kara Prosise and Kofi Johnson; her stepdaughter Thomasina Wright; her siblings, Cassandra Johnson Terrell and Hanson Johnson; her siblings-in-law, Deron Terrell, Karen Delano Johnson and Tangie Sizer Williams; her grandchildren, Derrick, Malik, Antione, Aniya, Zari and Onna; her aunts and uncles, George, Robert, Wesley Wheeler, Anthony Hawkins, Eunice Logan, Audrey Hawkins, Jackie, Judy and Beverly Wheeler; her friend Della Holmes; and her cousin Vernita Johnson. She is also survived by five nieces, three nephews, three great-nephews.
