He was predeceased by: his son William Preston Askeland. He is survived by: his parents, Preston Askeland and Shirley Askeland; his wife Tammi Askeland; his children, Leigh Zahm (Benjamin) of Stafford County, Joseph Dinwiddie of Kings Bay, GA and Angel Askeland; and his grandson Kayden Dewyea. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
